Class Policies
REFUND POLICY
We're looking for committed students that are excited to start speaking Spanish on Day 1. However we know things come up; in some special cases, we can offer a 75% refund if you notify us 2 weeks before the start date of your class. A refund is at the discretion of the Director.
We require a minimum of 4 students in a group class in order for it to begin on the scheduled start date. You will be contacted a week in advance if your group doesn't reach the minimum. We will either offer you a comparable group, an alternative start date or a full refund.
COMMUNICATION METHOD
When we need to communicate with you urgently, our method of communication will be via SMS/text messaging. Please provide a cell phone number when you enroll that can receive these messages.
When we have general news to communicate to you, our method of communication will be via email. Please add our email: director@gjspanishnow.com to your contact list to keep us from hitting your spam. We are not responsible for missed communication for emails that miss the inbox.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
If you have to miss class, reach out to your teacher via email for the class worksheets and/or online videos.
If you know you are going to miss classes regularly, reach out to your teacher to discuss a plan to keep you on track with your group. Failure to keep up with the group will result in needing to repeat a level before advancing.
In the event that the teacher has to cancel the class, a rescheduled class will be offered at no additional cost.
PRIVATE CLASSES
Before you can begin your private classes, you must take an oral placement exam so we can assess your skill level and make a plan with curriculum moving forward.
Private classes must be used within 6 months of purchase otherwise they will expire.
If you cannot make it to your scheduled class, you must give us 24 hours notice via email otherwise the hour is considered fulfilled.
If you are a regular private class student, simply buy more classes as you need them!
